What is Lingmo RESTFul API?
Lingmo Translation API is an automated translation service leveraging AI that translates content in Realtime into 80 languages. This service can be integrated onto your website/application or it can be used via our interface. We can train our system to recognise industry specific terminology and customise the service to meet your business needs.
Does Lingmo RESTFul API work with my current platform?
Our solution supports integration in web/desktop/mobile IoT/AR/VR applications. It has a RESTFul interface with OAuth 2.0 security which allows you to communication with industrial standard security medium.
How does Lingmo Translation API work?
Lingmo translation API leverages AI from IBM Watson and our own Neutral Machine Translation. Our custom-built translation architecture has been developed to recognise the subsets required for Realtime contextual translation that detect nuances, slang and native dialects as well as grammar and punctuation. Our RESTFul API can be integrated into your application or website or you can use our bespoke interface to translate your text.
What languages do you support?
Lingmo currently support 80 languages and thousands of languages pairs. Our system enables you to translate between any of our 80 languages and you don’t need to only translate from/to English. We also have software to transcribe 29 voice languages to text. Find out more about our transcription service here.
How long do translations take?
Our translation API translates content in Realtime so you can use translated articles immediately. With all translated text we do recommend that a proof-reader read through the content afterwards.
How are the quality and accuracy of the translations measured?
Lingmo has several systems in places to continually manage and ensure consistent accurate translations are delivered to our customers. Our audit system checks for accuracy, fluency, terminology, grammar and contextual understanding. Asides from the AI always learning and becoming smarter the more it is used, we also continually perform enhancements to improve the accuracy and translations.
How does Lingmo the privacy and security of my customer communications?
Understandably, Lingmo’s customers are very conscious of the data they provide us for translation and because of the sensitive information that is contained within some documentation such as name, date of birth, address, bank details, credit card numbers and password or sensitive information such as police reports, medical history or court hearings. Lingmo do not collect, store or use any data our clients provide us so your data is not comprised and remains safe.
When our API is used for translation, the files are translated in Realtime and pass through our translation software without the need to ‘record’ any information.
We are compliant with GDPR and ask all our clients to sign an NDA.
