What is Lingmo Transcription?
Lingmo Transcription is an automated transcription service that transcribes audio files into any of our 80 text languages. Using AI technology and our superior speech recognition software enables this Realtime platform to contextually and accurate transcribe WAV and MP3 files into text files. This service can be used via our custom-built interface. We can train our system to recognise your industry specific terminology and customise the service to meet your business needs.
How does Lingmo Translation API work?
Lingmo Transcription leverages IBM Watson AI, our speech recognition technology and our own Neutral Machine Translation. Our custom-built translation architecture has been developed to recognise the subsets required for Realtime contextual transcription and translation. Our speech recognition software detects the speaker’s nuances, slang and native dialects enabling the transcription to be accurately and consistently transcribed. The WAV or MP3 files are uploaded into our Lingmo Transcription system and transcribed into the desired text language.
What languages do you support?
Lingmo currently support 29 voice languages and 80 text languages plus hundreds of languages pairs. Our system enables you to transcribe in 29 voice languages and up to 80 text languages. You don’t need to only translate/transcribe from/to English either, our system can transcribe between other language pairs too.
How long do transcriptions take?
Our system transcribes in Realtime. However, it will be dependent on the quality of the input audio file. If there is any distortion in the speech, background interference or video quality the transcription may take longer because the quality of the file is something Lingmo cannot control.
How are the quality and accuracy of the translations measured?
Lingmo has several systems in places to continually manage and ensure consistent accurate translations are delivered to our customers. Our audit system checks for accuracy, fluency, terminology, grammar and contextual understanding. Asides from the AI always learning and becoming smarter the more it is used, we also continually perform enhancements to improve the accuracy and translations.
What does Lingmo do about privacy and security of my audio content?
Understandably, safety and security of your audio file and content is something Lingmo’s clients are very conscious of. We understand the data that is provided to us for transcription and translation can contain sensitive information such as name, date of birth, address, bank details, credit card numbers and password or sensitive information such as police reports, medical history or court hearings. Lingmo do not collect, store or use any data our clients provide us, so your data is not comprised and remains safe.
When our transcription software is used for transcribing and translation, the files are transcribed and translated in Realtime and pass through our software without being recorded or syphoned for information.
We are compliant with GDPR and ask all our clients to sign an NDA.
Can Lingmo Transcription be trained to recognised industry specific terminologies?
Yes, we can customise our system to meet your business needs and train our software to recognise industry specific terminology. This information would need to be provided prior to the commencement of any transcription. For more information about this, please contact us.
