Ideally yes if you want to receive and send multilingual chats. If only the host has the Lingmo Translate for Zoom Chat downloaded they will be able to receive and send translated chats. Particpants that do not have Lingmo Translate downloaded will not be able to reply using Lingmo Translate.

Yes. The host is able to select the language for all the individual participants in a chat. They do this by clicking on the participant’s name and typing “/lingmo yourlang” and then can select the language.

The command “/lingmo {command}” activates the translation for the users. If the “/lingmo” command is not typed, the translation will not happen and the chat will be sent as a normal chat.

Please check you have registered, received an active authorisation code and copied that into your Zoom account. For the translation to work, “/lingmo” {followed by a command} must be used at the start of each individual message/chat. If you have not downloaded Lingmo Translate the “/lingmo” command will be invalid.

Currently we have 80 languages to choose from. The Zoom host and participants can select their own languages to chat in. See our full list of languages here.

No, our subscription model is priced per host/ per account. However, your monthly subscription will work when you are both a host and a participant in another chat group.
